 One of the biggest hitbacks of the NEP-2020 is 'Class difference would exist after implementation of this policy also' .Assuming how? We will let you know that in this blog. Welcome back to Kitaabi-Fi! In the last blog, we witnessed the positives of NEP-2020. Let's now discuss about what's wrong with the new policy. Three most important aspects that have been ignored in this policy are outdated syllabus, Poor infrastructure and poorly trained teachers. One of the important aspect of this policy lies with using mother tongue as communication medium . But this is not mandatory. As a result, private schools would not follow this and class difference between private and government school students will still exist. Students of private school will have an undue advantage in competition, and jobs as well. CEE-Common Entrance Examination  is suggested after 12th standard rather than different entrance exams. Today we will be discussing over the National Education Policy-2020.   BJP declared about this policy in its manifesto back in 2014. In 2015, a committee led by  TSR Subramanian was formed, Smriti Irani was the then HRD minister. Government didn't approve the draft of this committee. Again in 2016, another committee was formed which was led by K Kasturirangan-Former ISRO chief. This committee made its final draft on 31st May, 2019. According to HRD Ministry, this draft has been approved after almost 1.5 Lac suggestions. 1. 5+3+3+4 Model As of now, our school education is based mostly on 10+2 model where for 10 years, students read common subjects and then for next 2 years, they study subjects of their choice.
